Pet Care For years now, Holland Diervoeders has had a successful joint venture with Procter & Gamble. We supply the local marketing, sales and distribution services for cat and dog food of the premium brands Iams and Eukanuba.

Since 1989, we have possessed exclusive distribution rights for IAMS and Eukanuba in the Netherlands.

In 1994, we set up a separate Iams division.

This division currently employs more than 20 people.

Eukanuba
With its quality ingredients, Eukanuba focuses, in a unique fashion, on the individual needs of dogs and cats. So, when you pick up a Eukanuba bag, you can be sure that your dog or cat is getting the best food.

By studying the impact that innovative feed has on the health of domestic pets, P & G Pet Care can continuously develop new formulae, products and processes to ensure that all products - Eukanuba Veterinary Diets, Eukanuba and Iams - meet the needs of our faithful pets.

Over the years, the enterprising vision of The Iams Company has turned this regional business in Dayton (Ohio) into a world leader in the field of premium quality feed for dogs and cats. January 1999 saw the opening of the first production factory in Europe, which happened to be in Coevorden. From there, the brands Eukanuba and Iams are delivered to Europe, the Middle East and South Africa. In the same year, P & G took over The Iams Company, and the business moved forward under the name P & G Pet Care.

IAMS
The Iams product range offers high-quality dog and cat food that boosts the condition and quality of life of these animals.

Dogs and cats are carnivores, so Iams uses high-quality animal protein, especially chicken and lamb, and not cereals as the main source of protein in all its feed products.
